FAQ

Common questions

Why scan your ports?
Scanning ports on your public IP helps identify open services that may be exposed to the internet. This is important to reduce the risk of attacks on unnecessary services.
What happens during the scan?
We attempt lightweight TCP connections to selected ports. This does not exploit anything or overload your server — it simply checks if ports accept connections.
Is this safe and private?
Yes. We log the scan details (time, your IP, the target IP, optional email, ports scanned, and user-agent) for security auditing. Your data isn’t sold or misused.
What should I do with the results?
If you find unexpected open ports, check your firewall rules and disable or secure services you don’t need exposed.
